Overalls

I bet you remember these things, the ones with the snaps, and the pocket in the front, the ones you wore when you were about three years old? Yes, those. I don’t remember the last time i donned a pair of blue denim overalls, but as far off as it seems, it was over a decade ago. As we all know, fashion moves in cycles, blah blah blah. It’s all been said, so I will keep explanation to a minimum. But recently, I was taking a gander through the teen’s department at Macy’s, and noticed the abundance of overalls. This brought me a significant amount of joy. I’ve been seeing these throwbacks for months now. Urban Outfitters had even released some on their Urban Renewal line. I’ve even seen models like Alexa Chung sporting some overalls.
Although I’m not sure how long this revival will last, I hope it makes it at least through the summer. I’ve seen so many pairs with pinstripes, florals, and in an array of colors, it would be a tragedy to miss out.
So, will you rock these? I know I will.
