Jewelry Collection & Storage
Statement necklaces are my one true weakness
For the last two months I have been trying to figure out how I am going to store and transport all of my jewelry to college. For some people, this may seem excessive, but yes, I am bringing ALL of this jewelry with me to college. Jewelry is an equally essential part of every outfit. The accessories you pair with your outfit can drastically change how it looks. Adding jewelry to even the simplest outfits can instantly make you look more fashion-forward and put together. I have been “collecting” jewelry for about the last four years, so this post is going to be very photo-heavy. I decided to share with you all how I am going to store my jewelry while I am at college as well as my collection of jewelry. I will try my best to share where everything is from as a reference. So, lets get right into it:
Storage: I wanted to find a way to store my jewelry that would not be messy and that wouldn’t take up too much surface area, since dorm rooms are quite small. I had thought about jewelry organizers and such, but I’ve never been much good at keeping it organized. I had a few organza tie pouches laying around and that sparked the idea of using those to store my jewelry. I went to Michael’s Craft Store and bought twenty-four white organza pouches from the wedding section. I plan on putting my jewelry in these and then storing them in a drawer or box. This works since I don’t need my jewelry on display but it keeps it safe and from getting tangled.

Wow that was long, I applaud you for making it that far. As you can see I tend to purchase my trendy statement jewelry at stores like Forever 21 and H&M. Typically the pieces are good enough quality to last me a couple of seasons. I hope this post didn’t bore you too much, but jewelry is a huge part of my wardrobe so I felt that I might as well share it with you.

ps. While I was making this I was jamming to Ella Henderson’s song Ghost and Taylor Swift’s new song Shake It Off – love them both, go check them out!
